If you’re not sitting down already I’d like you to do that now, please. Because I am about to shock you with how freaking cool I am.

You see, the kids will be with their dad for Christmas this year. I was so sad, but then I realized what a great opportunity this was to do something wonderful for myself that I’ve never done before.

So I went online. And bought… a round-trip ticket to Maui! I’m going to be there for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Years! I’m staying in a hostel and renting a car and I’m going to have the most amazing adventure of my life. I’ve never been to Hawaii before, and I’ve also never traveled alone before, so this is all going to be new and exciting. I feel so brave and grown up. So anyone out there who has been to Maui, leave me your favorite hot spot in the comments. I already know I want to try snorkeling and some hiking, but I’m not sure where or how to get there or how it all works. So be my tourist guides and help me write up an agenda!
