happy feet!
I just got back from seeing Happy Feet with Babs. That was one durn cute movie. Robin Williams was hilarious, of course, and I was pleasantly surprised with Brittany Murphy’s performance as Gloria the penguin. I’m usually not a fan of hers. There were quite a few scary and suspenseful parts, so I probably wouldn’t recommend it to the under 5 crowd, but Babs handled it well and there were even some good grown-up jokes sprinkled in throughout the film. Also, because I am a big fat wussy baby, I cried at the end. But anyway.
The movie has a cute website that’s fun to explore with the little ones. Check it out here.
Has anyone seen Marie Antoinette? I wonder if it’s worth it to see in the theater or if I should wait for the DVD. What other good movies are out there right now?

Marie Antoinette was good, and I thought it was amazing just for the clothes and the decadence. My fiance thought it was boring, and I guess he was right-it might be boring from a man’s standpoint. Kirsten Dunst was great, but I think it’s one of those movies you may want to see at home.
