Welcome to November! I am excited to post every day this month for NaBloPoMo, and you guys have given me some fun ideas to work with!

I am going to start the month off on a great note by awarding my first Perfect Post award to a very deserving woman. Michelle from A Sweet Life has absolutely blown my socks off with her writing the last few weeks. She has always been amazing, but during the month of October she completely outdid herself. She and I are both participants in Self Portrait Challenge, and it has been fascinating to see her perspective on the monthly themes. October’s theme was “imperfection”… and Michelle was not happy with this theme. She felt that as a woman, she was already way too good at looking at her imperfections. While she understood the need to embrace one’s imperfections, she also felt that there was not enough encouragement to seek out and expose one’s beauty. So, she boycotted the theme. For the whole month. And every week, she posted a picture of herself looking beautiful. Her amazing photographs and the inspirational words that accompanied them absolutely awed me. She is a phenomenal woman, an indispensable asset to this world, and someone I am so lucky to be able to “know” through blogland.
