Wow. I have been so touched by all of your wonderful and supportive comments on my last post. After I hit “publish” my heart started pounding and my entire body was shaking. I have never been that vulnerable on my blog before, and I was terrified that I had put too much of myself out there, and that everyone would be scared away. But you guys. Seriously. Your love and concern blew me away. It proved to me that I really do have an amazing thing going on here, a community of incredible people from whom I can draw strength and encouragement. I hope I have an opportunity to support you someday the way you have all supported me. Thank you.

I am up at my family’s beach condo this week. The weather is absolutely perfect. We’ve been spending hours every day swimming in the pool and lounging on the warm sand, looking out over the sparkling water of the Puget Sound. I feel completely refreshed already- this is a much needed vacation! I am going to try to find something wonderfully beachy for my self portrait tomorrow so be sure to check back in, and hopefully our internet will hold out long enough for me to post it!
