hello nice people
I can’t believe how unbelievably nice and supportive you all are. Your comments meant so much to me, mostly because they reminded me of all of the wonderful and good things I get out of blogging. I decided to turn off the site meter and stop comparing myself to all those “big” blogs out there, and just write. I think it is important to my mental health not to let things build up for too long in my brain. I need an outlet.
My friend and I were able to go out together and discuss everything. We talked and cried (for four hours!) and we were finally able to reach a point of genuine understanding for each other. So I’m doing much, much better now, and everything seems to be calming down. Thank goodness.
Thank you so much for your help and your friendship, everyone.

Yay for you! I’m happy to hear the sun is once again shining upon you.

I am glad you and your friend got to talk and work out an understanding. And selfishly, I am glad if you have come to a comfortable place in your blogging where you continue for as long as possible.
(and I’ve turned off the sitemeter too — what lovely freedom that provides!)
I promise not to be such a stranger now that I’ve delurked.

I’m glad you have found the light at the end of that tunnel. Those periods are difficult but so much is learned at the end - I hope it was the same for you. And I agree with all the other sentiments - write for you. Many of us feel honored with the gift of your blog and enjoy reading it regularly. There are too, too many things in life that become competitive - this should be a creative outlet, not a game. I scrapbook and try to limit the times I scrap with others, as the competitive ones try each time to get some sort of “My stuff’s better than yours” thing going and I won’t let the preservation of my family’s memories be tainted with that. Life’s too short…
I enjoy your blog and look forward to continued readings.

do NOT compare yourself to those ‘bigger bloggers’, everyone comes her for your great inspiration and honesty you convey so well in your writing! Glad you are feeling better!

I found your site after you commented on my blog about the death of my son. I am glad you found me. I enjoy your blog. It is like reading what I am thinking. I will come back here often. And thank you for your kind words on my site.
